Optisense: New PaintChecker Lab especially for laboratory environments

OptiSense has developed a new solution for laboratory applications: the PaintChecker Lab. It is the smallest stationary photothermal table-top device and is predestined for continuous operation in the laboratory.
The new PaintChecker Lab from Optisense is a small, stationary, desktop photothermal device. Three different connector sockets are optionally available for laser, LED-R and LED-B sensors. This means that the device can be used universally and is ultra-flexible. The latest addition to the PaintChecker family is equipped with a powerful power supply unit for continuous operation in the laboratory.
Like all OptiSense systems, the laboratory device can check paints or powders even before they have hardened, i.e. when the coating is still wet or soft. The non-contact process therefore immediately offers optimum quality control and significantly greater process reliability. A selection of lightweight and small sensors is available for different applications. With their sophisticated design and tiny measuring spot, the slim laser sensors are particularly suitable for coating thickness checks in places that were previously difficult to access or on delicate small parts, corners and edges. The PaintChecker Lab measures the coating across all colors - from deep black to pure white - and on substrates such as metal, glass, rubber or plastic.
