Innovation award for Adler Abramotion grinding robot

The first sensitive sanding robot for the window industry, the Adler Abramotion, is attracting attention: The new development from the Austrian paint manufacturer was presented with the WFK.Award in the Innovation category at the Vienna Window Congress.
Because the sanding effort accounts for a large part of the painting work and contributes decisively to the perfect surface, Adler, as a leading paint manufacturer, has taken up this issue. At the Vienna Window Congress, which took place in Austria's federal capital at the end of June, the promising development was met with enthusiasm and the Adler Abramotion was awarded the main prize in the Innovation category, having previously received the Tyrolean Innovation Prize The Adler sales manager for the window industry, Richard Mölk, expresses his thanks for the prizes: "We are delighted with this further confirmation of our efforts to help window manufacturers achieve more efficient processes, better results and healthier workplaces in the process."
As a high-tech helper, the Abramotion sanding robot developed by Adler-Lacke together with two partners from the robotics sector takes the time-consuming and laborious sanding process away from window manufacturers. Employees no longer have to toil manually, but instead reach for the remote control instead of the sanding sponge: A camera system scans the window surface and allows the robot arm, which is equipped with two different sanding heads, to glide over the surface precisely and at the same time sensitively. This is because Abramotion regulates all parameters such as speed and contact pressure in real time - it is virtually a robot with a sure touch. Thanks to integrated suction, it also means goodbye to sanding dust!
