Saint-Gobain Abrasives and its well-known brands Norton and Norton Winter will once again be represented at Grindinghub 2026 with the latest developments and innovative sanding solutions.

Under the motto "Engineering the Future of Grinding Technology", Saint-Gobain Abrasives will be showcasing its innovative grinding solutions at Grindinghub 2026, which provide answers to current challenges and future trends in the industry. Over the four days of the trade fair, Saint-Gobain Abrasives will be focusing on exciting topics such as the processing of hard-coated brake discs for the upcoming Euro 7 standard, more performance in flute grinding and innovative grinding solutions for the aerospace industry or for processing medical devices and implants. A special highlight at the stand: Together with its partner AV&R, Saint-Gobain Abrasives will be exhibiting a robot cell on site, which will provide realistic insights into automated grinding processes in demo mode. Visitors will receive detailed information about the system itself as well as the appropriate sanding tools and process solutions for automated applications.

Trade fair innovations from Saint-Gobain Abrasives at Grindinghub

With the introduction of the Euro 7 standard, stricter limit values for particulate emissions are prescribed. This has a particular impact on braking systems. Manufacturers, abrasives suppliers and technology partners are therefore facing new challenges, as innovative materials and strict standard specifications require precise and economical grinding of the new hard-coated brake discs. "The task now is to machine the brake discs so that they reliably comply with the standard. At GrindingHub, we will be showcasing the latest solutions that can be individually adapted to the processes." Increasing precision requirements make flute grinding of carbide shank tools particularly demanding. With the Q-Flute Prime diamond grinding wheel, Norton Winter offers a solution for higher productivity, shorter cycle times and lower costs - thanks to up to 50 % higher profile retention and a significantly longer tool life. Saint-Gobain Abrasives will also be showcasing other grinding solutions for tool processing at GrindingHub, such as for saw sharpening. Another trade fair highlight is Norton Aeros, which impresses with its precision and efficiency when grinding temperature-sensitive alloys. Thanks to innovative technologies, the high-performance grinding wheel for the aerospace industry delivers outstanding results even in demanding surface and deep grinding applications. The wheel has been specially developed for complex, high-precision applications and enables, among other things, reduced set-up time, longer tool life, improved workpiece quality and increased productivity. Saint-Gobain Abrasives will be exhibiting at Grindinghub 2026 in Hall 7, Stand C40.
