Flir: Business and technology partnership with UE Systems
Flir and UE Systems want to work together in the field of acoustic imaging for condition monitoring and energy savings. The partnership will enable the scaling of ultrasonic imaging solutions in industrial maintenance technology.
Flir, a Teledyne Technologies company, and UE Systems, a leading global provider of ultrasonic inspection equipment, will partner to offer industrial customers state-of-the-art solutions for condition-based maintenance. Both companies intend to offer ultrasonic technology for condition monitoring applications in many industrial segments worldwide, combining their extensive expertise in the areas of production safety and energy savings. The cooperation starts with Flir's Si2 series of acoustic cameras: Si2-Pro, Si2-LD and Si2-PD. The Si2 series enables customers to pinpoint problems in the detection of partial discharges, pressure leaks and mechanical faults in industrial environments.
