ITSC 2026 in Bangkok - Conference on Thermal Coating Technology
The ITSC - International Thermal Spray Conference & Exhibition, the world's leading event in the field of thermal spray technology, will take place from March 18 to 20, 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Call for Papers is open and contributions can be submitted until the end of July.
At the ITSC - International Thermal Spray Conference & Exhibition, international experts will be discussing the latest developments, new applications and smart solutions in the industry under the motto "Engineered for Excellence - Smart Coatings for a Smart World". Thermal spraying has long since established itself as a key technology in numerous industrial applications. However, research and development in this field is constantly progressing - be it in processes, materials, systems or digitalization. ITSC 2026 offers an excellent platform for global exchange on these developments and brings together experts from industry, science and research. The event is organized by DVS Media GmbH and ASM International. The associations responsible for the technical program are the ASM Thermal Spray Society (TSS) and the DVS - Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e. V. (German Welding Society).
Call for papers opened for ITSC 2026
In addition to traditional thermal spraying, laser and plasma-based coating technologies and cladding applications are becoming increasingly important. Additive manufacturing (AM) technologies are also playing an increasingly important role, with a particular focus on applications and solutions using thermal spray technology. ITSC 2026 also offers comprehensive insights into all relevant thermal coating technologies, particularly in the context of the energy and mobility transition. Experts from all over the world are invited to submit current application-oriented or scientific contributions on innovative developments, new coating solutions, applications or research results in the field of thermal coating technology by July 28, 2025.

An integral part of the ITSC is the accompanying trade exhibition. Here, international and regionally active companies and institutes will provide information about their technologies, products and services in direct dialog. Numerous presentation areas have already been allocated - interested exhibitors should register as soon as possible.
