DVS: New sponsor Teka for "Young Welders Competition"

The new sponsor of the "Young Welders Competition" is Teka Absaug- und Entsorgungstechnologie GmbH. The renowned young talent competition is organized by the DVS - German Welding Society.
The "Young Welders Competition" at national and international level, which is organized by the DVS - German Welding Society, promotes young talent in the field of welding technology and is committed to the professional development of tomorrow's specialists. The next round of the competition will take place at the world's leading trade fair for joining, cutting and coating, Schweissen & Schneiden 2025 in Essen, which will attract numerous industry experts and technology pioneers from September 15 to 19, 2025. Teka will be on site during Schweissen & Schneiden 2025 in the large welding arena in the Galeria and will equip the workstations of the competition participants with state-of-the-art extraction and filter technology. This not only ensures the highest safety standards, but also an optimal working environment for the young welders. Young welders wanted
The "Young Welders Competition" is made up of the DVS national competition "Jugend schweißt" and the "International Welding Competition". "Jugend schweißt" takes place on the first two days of Schweissen & Schneiden and serves as a springboard for young talents from Germany between the ages of 16 and 23. In the four welding processes TIG, MAG, manual electric and gas welding, the participants compete in precision, quality and technical execution. The best qualify to take part in the ARC Cup, which is held in China every year. From the third day of the trade fair, the "International Welding Competition" will take place in the welding arena. Young welders from all over the world will compete against each other. Countries that have announced their participation include Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, Spain, China and Switzerland. The "Jugend schweißt" award ceremony will take place on September 17 at 2 p.m. at the DVS stand in Hall 3. It will be moderated by Igor Welder, an experienced welding expert and content creator for the industry. On September 19 at 2 p.m., the winners of the "International Welding Competition" will be honored.
