Online training platform Axalta Academy for painters launched

For maximum flexibility, the new Axalta Academy offers a range of different training courses on its online platform, which can be used to impart best-practice knowledge. After registering, users create their profile. They can then choose between three different types of training, depending on their needs: classroom training, live virtual training or e-learning. All classroom training is led by experienced Axalta trainers and offered at Axalta's training facilities worldwide. These hands-on courses teach both the theoretical and practical aspects for each step in the painting process. Users have access to country-specific calendars through which they can apply for various courses. Live virtual training streams technical training events directly from Axalta's global training facilities. They provide customized remote training that saves time and travel costs, as well as reduces time away from the paint shop. A calendar of country-specific live events shows which training sessions are available. Painters simply click on a link to register. Participants are also given the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the training instructor. The e-learning material in the Axalta Academy includes a library of interactive instructional content on a variety of topics - from digital color matching and plastic repairs to special coatings and basecoat systems. This library is continuously being expanded.
