Metrohm: Pre-calibrations for NIR spectroscopy

With pre-calibrations for fast application of near-infrared spectroscopy: Metrohm now offers pre-calibrations for the Omnis NIR Analyzer, making measurements possible at the touch of a button.
Pre-calibrations in near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) are ready-to-use prediction models that deliver reliable results right from the start. These models are based on an extensive collection (around 100 to 600) of real product spectra, which represent a wide range of parameters. This eliminates the need to create and validate calibration sets and the pre-calibrated prediction model can be used directly for routine analysis of unknown samples
With the pre-calibrations for the Omnis NIR Analyzer, companies receive measurement results for their samples from day one. With just one push of a button, the measurement is started and results for several analysis values of samples are available simultaneously in a few seconds, saving time and money. If the results obtained by pre-calibration on control samples are not completely satisfactory, it is usually sufficient to adapt the model to your own samples with additional measured samples. Metrohm is continuously working on new pre-calibrations and is constantly developing the existing ones.
