Wolfmair nominated for "Besser Lackieren Award 2023“

Wolfmair Beschichtungs G.m.b.H has been nominated for the "Besser Lackieren Award 2023", where the top performances of coating companies are honored every year. The company prevailed against applicants from the entire German-speaking region and made it to the finalists.
The jury of the "Besser Lackieren Award 2023", consisting among others of representatives of the Fraunhofer IPA, the industry as well as the editorial team of "Besser lackieren", carefully reviewed all submissions and now announced the finalists. In this benchmark competition for industrial painting processes, companies are screened in all areas - and Wolfmair Beschichtungs GmbH was able to hold its own alongside companies such as the BMW Group plant in Landshut and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, for example, and is now one of the finalists. The renowned jury examines and evaluates the capabilities and processes in the individual paint stores, provides well-founded feedback and also visited all companies on site in order to be able to make a detailed evaluation and verify information. Birgit Wolfmair, Managing Director of Wolfmair, is delighted with the nomination and is particularly proud of the digitalization in her company: "Here we clearly stand out from the competition. From the document file to production data acquisition, the customer portal to delivery date compliance, everything runs digitized at our company." With the help of the online calculation tool for powder coating products, for example, customers can calculate in advance.
High quality standards can also be realized with the help of the digital customer dialog. One click provides access to all necessary data - at any time. "Our customers receive an automated e-mail that the goods are ready for pickup as soon as the packer is ready. This is a service that only a few can offer. It simply creates planning security for our customers," says Birgit Wolfmair. In addition to constructing the coating to suit the customer's needs, Wolfmair's special feature is also the delivery of technical details at the push of a button, including effect selection of the surfaces. The annual "Besser Lackieren Award" is the only benchmark competition in the German-speaking world for industrial coating technology that evaluates technologically leading know-how in a practical and comparative manner. It enables companies within the two areas of "in-house coaters" and "contract coaters" to determine where their coating operations stand in comparison with the competition and is intended to highlight the best strategies and most efficient concepts in industrial coating technology. In the fall of 2023, the jury will honor the best and most innovative in-house coaters and contract coaters with the popular award. Wolfmair has already prevailed over applicants from across the German-speaking region. "We are particularly proud that we have already come extremely far," says Birgit Wolfmair.
