"Powder coating is durable, weatherproof, environmentally friendly, time-saving and cost-effective," says Birgit Wolfmair, second-generation managing director of the Wolfmair family business in Goldwörth, Upper Austria. It develops high-quality powder coatings for components and surfaces and, with its 16 employees, also offers delivery of the finished coated components directly to the company, from competent advice on surface preparation, masking and optimum powder coating to perfect packaging. "When we can tell our customers at the push of a button which color shade they had chosen for the commission in 2015, it leads to astonished faces," reports Birgit Wolfmair.
"We want to work innovatively and with our finger on the pulse. We are particularly proud of our online calculation tool for powder coating products, which allows customers to calculate in advance," says Wolfmair, who took over the company from her parents in 2005. In digital times of progressive customer centricity, Wolfmair is backing the right horse when it comes to achieving high quality standards. The right digital tools are used for successful customer dialog. One click provides access to all necessary data - at any time. "Today, our customers receive an automated e-mail that the goods are ready for pickup as soon as the packer says, 'I'm ready.' That's a service that only a few can offer. It simply creates planning security for our customers," says Birgit Wolfmair.
