Norton Winter publishes catalog of abrasives for tool machining

The new catalog from Norton Winter, a brand of Saint-Gobain Abrasives, presents all superabrasive grinding solutions in stock and available at short notice, as well as possible custom solutions for grinding-related tool machining. New additions to the current version include the innovative premium high-performance solution Q-Flute Prime for flute grinding of carbide and shank tools together with the matching dressing tool based on the new, even more powerful DDS Cut technology.

The updated "Precision Technology Tool Grinding" catalog presents detailed solutions for all relevant areas of application: including grinding tools for machining shank tools as well as for machining circular and band saws or for producing indexable inserts, for PCD and PcBN machining and knife machining. In addition, grinding wheels for the machining of milling tools as well as the available grinding tools for tool and mold making will be presented. All grinding tools presented are manufactured at the Norton Winter site in Norderstedt - and since January 2023 with 100 percent green electricity. As a result of this and other consistent implementations of Saint-Gobain's sustainability strategy, around 5,000 tons of CO2 emissions can be avoided annually in the production process there, which also significantly improves sustainability on the part of customers (Scope 3).
