Saint-Gobain recognized as "Top Employer 2023
Saint-Gobain Germany is certified as a "Top Employer" again this year, making it one of the country's best employers for the 16th time in a row. Once again, all Saint-Gobain companies in Germany are awarded the "Top Employer Germany 2023" seal.
The "Top Employer Germany 2023" seal is awarded for outstanding employer qualities. The certification is based on an annual survey of the world's leading employers. Companies certified as Top Employers place their employees at the center of their business activities and offer them an outstanding working and development environment. The basis of the audit is a comprehensive HR Best Practices questionnaire. This covers six overarching HR dimensions and 20 HR areas, such as People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being and Diversity & Inclusion. This year, the program recognized over 2052 Top Employers in 121 countries/regions on five continents.
Particular strengths were identified among Saint-Gobain companies in Germany in the areas of Sustainability and Diversity & Inclusion, as well as Talent Acquisition and Learning. The progress made in the areas of Ethics & Integrity, Rewards & Recognition and Employer Branding also deserves special mention. However, the high level in the overall score was also maintained in Germany. "Once again, the Top Employers Institute recognizes Saint-Gobain companies in Germany as exemplary, responsible employers, and has done so without interruption for 16 years. This makes me particularly proud and my thanks go to all employees who thus put our Purpose 'Making The World A Better Home' into practice every day and make us an even better employer," explains Timo Wiegand, Human Resources Director of Saint-Gobain in Germany & Austria, and continues: "Our group of companies also receives recognition at an international level: once again, Saint-Gobain achieved the title of 'TOP Employer Global' for 2023 through successful certifications in a total of 40 countries worldwide. Only 15 companies have been awarded this title."
