New Dürr Gear-Type Metering Pump for Precise Paint Dosing

Dürr is launching an optimized gear metering pump designed specifically for use with common 1K and 2K coating materials in industrial coating processes. The EcoPump GW iD is intended to ensure reliable coating quality for industrial applications.
Dürr’s new EcoPump GW iD series is suitable for a wide range of industrial coating applications that require precise volumetric delivery of constant paint volumes. With flow rates ranging from 9 to 900 ml/min, the pump can be adapted to different applications as needed. In addition, the pump is compatible with Dürr’s Ready2integrate concept. This ensures that the control system, metering technology, and applicator are optimally coordinated and provided as a preconfigured solution. Customers benefit from quick installation, high process reliability, and a solution tailored to their specific requirements. To meet the high demands of industrial coating processes, all variants come standard with an Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon (ADLC) coating. This ensures high durability and, according to the manufacturer, helps maintain surface quality over the long term.
Dosing Pump for Reliable Coating Quality
For added operational reliability, the EcoPump GW iD is optionally available with a bypass valve. In addition to its pressure relief function, the valve opens automatically in the event of overpressure, thereby reliably protecting the downstream application from potential operator errors and process disruptions. In addition, the flushable versions feature a patented shaft bearing. This significantly extends the pump’s service life, resulting in lower maintenance and repair costs as well as greater operational reliability. The EcoPump GW iD is part of the Fluid Board2, which combines all components required for high-precision paint metering in a compact space. This allows the system to be easily and efficiently integrated into painting processes. For existing applications, the pump can also be retrofitted onto the Fluid Board1, offering additional flexibility during modernization projects. Furthermore, the new EcoPump GW iD is compatible with existing systems and can be retrofitted as a standalone component at any time.
