At BlechExpo 2023, Kullen-Koti will show metalworking professionals its current product range. This time, one of the main topics will be the use of technical brushes for ultra-fine grinding and edge rounding in mechanical surface technology.

At this year's BlechExpo 2023 in Stuttgart (November 7-10), the specialists from Kullen-Koti will be available to answer questions from metalworking professionals who want to know which brushes can be used to functionally optimize and visually enhance the surfaces of components or tools. They can be found in Hall 3 at Booth 3405, where trade show visitors can get an overview of numerous different brush systems for deburring, derusting, polishing, oiling, cleaning, roughening and structuring surfaces. This time, the company is focusing on solutions for ultra-fine grinding and edge rounding as a special topic. Both processes have been of growing importance for some time, both for manufacturers of precision tools and for suppliers of ready-to-install components. These are highly dynamic finishing processes that are used, among other things, for reproducible deburring and rounding of the cutting edges of indexable inserts and shank tools as well as for finishing the surfaces of high-precision premium components.

In ultra-fine grinding, rotating tools can be used to remove both burrs and burr roots with maximum precision, while at the same time specifically influencing the tribological properties of the treated workpieces. At the Kullen-Koti booth, for example, trade show visitors will learn that the brush systems used for this purpose achieve their optimum effect when their depth of immersion in the workpiece is precisely defined and their abrasive filaments can be elastically applied to the edges and contours of the workpieces by the planetary rotational movement and the feed of the workpieces. With its portfolio of over 150,000 different variants, Kullen-Koti offers an optimal brush solution for almost every metalworking scenario. The brush systems on display at BlechExpo are also suitable for automated use with machines or robots, as well as for semi-automated use with powered hand tools. In addition, the company has developed a system of services that guides customers through the selection and configuration of the right brush to optimize processes and quality.
