Hesse Hoba-Tec celebrates opening at new Putzbrunn site
Hesse Hoba-Tec has opened its new plant in Putzbrunn near Munich. The company, which was previously based in Eching, showcased its hydro lacquer systems and discussed the switch from solvent-based to water-based lacquers.
A day full of innovation and exchange: Hesse Hoba-Tec officially opened its new facility in Putzbrunn on March 6, 2026. The move from Eching marks a strategic milestone for the company. With optimized logistical connections and modern business premises, the location offers ideal conditions for the next phase of growth in the Munich metropolitan region. During the inauguration ceremony, visitors were able to see the latest developments in the industry for themselves: demonstrations of the innovative hydro coating systems and comprehensive information on the switch from solvent-based to water-based coatings were the focus of the program. This was rounded off by live presentations of sustainable colored and colorless oils by social media creator Ben Berger and the participation of industry partners such as Sata, Mirka and Sames.
Hesse Hoba-Tec an important building block for expansion
"Our new site in Putzbrunn positions us perfectly for the future requirements of the market," explains Nicole Lohr, recently appointed Site Manager of Hesse Hoba-Tec. "The modern premises enable us to offer our customers even better advice and tailor-made color mixtures." In addition to the spatial expansion, there has also been a realignment of personnel: Nicole Lohr has taken over the management of the site and is thus focusing on continuous customer orientation. The previous site manager, Andreas von Thun, will in future concentrate on his role as a sales representative and business developer with a focus on acquiring new customers. Hesse Hoba-Tec is an important building block in the international expansion of the Hesse Group. In addition to the Hamm production site in North Rhine-Westphalia and its own branches in Belgium, France, the USA and Dubai, the modern facility in Putzbrunn underlines the market presence in southern Germany - as the Group's only "dealer under its own flag".
