Hans Hesse will end his role as Managing Director at the lacquer and stain manufacturer Hesse Lignal from Hamm on December 31, 2025 after 39 years. His daughter Hanna Hesse takes over responsibility as Co-CEO.

Hanna Hesse, daughter of Hans Hesse, is taking over responsibility for the Supply Chain and Administration divisions at Hesse GmbH & Co KG in the 4th generation as Co-CEO alongside Jens Hesse, thus continuing the tradition of the family business. Hans Hesse explains: "I am proud that my daughter is succeeding me as Managing Director. She has been part of the Hesse-Lignal team for 13 years and has held positions of responsibility at Hesse for many years, most recently as Head of Supply Chain."

Jens Hesse adds: "And in this day and age, succession is not a matter of course. We are therefore all the more pleased that Hanna is taking on this responsibility. This is a clear sign of continuity and the future." Hesse GmbH & Co KG, founded in Hamm in 1910, has stood for quality and innovation in the field of lacquers and stains for over a century. Today, the company is internationally positioned - with five subsidiaries in Dubai, Belgium, France, the USA and Munich and a total of 450 employees. With this generational change, Hesse remains true to its tradition and at the same time looks to the challenges of the future.
