The latest version of the GemaConnect E-App with updated functions extends the control of the powder coating process and offers unprecedented effectiveness. The app is available as standard for all application equipment with OptiStar 4.0 control.
The GemaConnect E-App (Electrostatic App) from enables easy access to application data and direct operation of the control unit groups via smartphone with its intuitive interface. Thus, E-App provides an automation extension for simple automatic coating lines and is a proven Smart Factory tool for OptiFlex Pro handheld users. The tool, which is free to use, covers the needs of various users - from production line management to plant maintenance.
The app automatically logs real equipment operating times. The integrated line management function records powder output and keeps statistics on system usage. Powder consumption can be recorded for each coating job, and the costs incurred are calculated on the basis of the powder prices specified by the application. With this overview, the costs per job, as well as potential savings, can be quickly identified. The maintenance countdown provides early information about when wear parts should be replaced. This is particularly helpful when using abrasive powders. The integrated service function provides further helpful information for the user.
