Gema UA05-x multi-gun axis for powder coating in difficult places
The new UA05-x multi-gun axis from Gema is used where top or bottom coating with several guns is required. This enables the automatic powder coating of difficult areas.
The new solution from Gema as a specialist of electrostatic powder coatings uses a single feed axis for the horizontal alignment of up to 3 automatic guns when coating complex components and XXL parts. In combination with the vertical Z-axis, the UA05-x shows its full strength in solving complex application tasks. The solution is expandable with angle mouthpieces and extensions to further increase the application range.
The multi-gun axis offers new application solutions, such as fixed gun positioning or horizontal oscillation above the workpiece, or applications requiring vertical gun positioning or product tracking from above and/or below. This allows automatic powder coating in difficult areas and provides a flexible approach to coating top, bottom and depth contours. The dense gun configuration extends the performance range for fully automatic coating within the smallest job window. Manual rework is significantly reduced, enabling higher coating quality and improved operator safety. The axis can be programmed with the MagicControl 4.0 control system and integrated into the control system via bus/CAN bus technology.
