Freilacke with system paint highlights at PaintExpo 2026

Freilacke will be presenting a wide range of coating systems at PaintExpo 2026 - from electrocoatings to powder and liquid coatings through to solutions for composites. One focus will be on sustainable technologies. These include the 2K-ETL system EcoOne, which does not require any solvents or neutralizing agents and thus reduces VOC emissions. At the same time, the system is energy-efficient: a curing temperature that is around 30 °C lower enables significant energy savings in the production process. Despite the reduced energy consumption, a uniform paint film with high mechanical strength and reliable corrosion protection is created. The powder coating portfolio has also been further developed and includes solutions for applications in the automotive, mechanical engineering and plant construction sectors as well as in the wind power and rail vehicle industries. Low-temperature powder coatings enable curing temperatures of up to 140 °C with a curing time of ten minutes, thus reducing energy consumption and oven throughput times. Freilacke will also be presenting new design collections such as "The Art of Matte" with deep matt trend colors and the "Buildings Collection" for architectural and design applications.

System coating solutions from Freilacke at PaintExpo

In the liquid coatings segment, the focus is on water-based systems that reduce VOC emissions while offering high performance. The portfolio ranges from physically drying water-based paints and oven-curing systems to 2K polyurethane and epoxy resin solutions. The range is complemented by ultra-high-solids systems with solids contents of up to 80 percent and VOC values of less than 350 g/l, which enable fast through-drying and efficient production processes. Freilacke will also be showcasing PFAS-free powder and liquid coating solutions as well as materials for composite components. These include gelcoats and color pastes for fiber-reinforced composites as well as CM Powder technology. In addition, styrene-reduced gelcoats have been developed which, according to the manufacturer, achieve improved weather resistance and shelf life. Freilacke will be presenting its solutions at PaintExpo 2026 in Hall 1, Stand 1420.
