FiT2clean Award 2026 - application phase started

The application phase for the 5th FiT2clean Award of the German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association (FiT) has begun. Manufacturers, suppliers and users from the industrial cleaning technology sector are invited to apply with solutions to current challenges in component cleaning.
The closing date for submissions for the FiT2clean Award is May 24, 2026. The innovation prize, which is endowed with 10,000 euros, will be awarded at the 34th "Industrial Parts Cleaning" conference on June 25, 2026 in Esslingen. New and modified products, innovative production technologies and materials, higher demands on the cost efficiency, stability and sustainability of processes as well as the digitalization of production - the changes in many areas of industry also affect parts cleaning. "Innovations and further developments in the field of industrial cleaning technology therefore make an important contribution to strengthening the competitiveness and added value of manufacturing companies," reports Dr. Michael Flämmisch, Chairman of the Board of the German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association (FiT). "The aim of the FiT2clean Award is to promote and highlight solutions for the numerous challenges in component cleaning." The FiT has been awarding the innovation prize, which is endowed with 10,000 euros and one year's free membership of the trade association, every year since 2022.
Applications for the FiT2clean Award 2026 in three categories
National and international manufacturers, suppliers and users from all areas of industrial cleaning technology are invited to take part in the fifth edition - from plant and process engineering to media, their monitoring and treatment, process monitoring and control and cleanliness analysis. Innovative solutions, currently implemented product ideas and further developments from the following subject areas can be submitted for the 2026 award up to and including May 24: Innovation: new product or product variation to implement current requirements in industrial parts cleaning, Ecology: solutions for industrial parts cleaning or for the modification of a product, process or application resulting in resource-optimized process management or the saving of resources, and QSRein 4.0: innovative system solution for knowledge-based process management in industrial parts cleaning. The applications submitted will be evaluated by an independent panel of experts - people from science, research, industry and the media - according to defined criteria. The three finalists will then present their solutions to the participants of the 34th "Industrial Parts Cleaning" symposium in Esslingen. The 5th FiT2clean Award will be presented immediately afterwards.
