Dürr is organizing the Open House 2026 as an international customer event. Under the motto "paint store of the future - path to performance", the mechanical and plant engineering company will be presenting a wide range of approaches for greater flexibility and sustainability in the paint store in April.

The ways to improve a paint shop are as varied as the customers' requirements and goals. With a focus on greater flexibility, efficiency and sustainability as well as practical service concepts, Dürr is offering a holistic view of all processes at its 13th Open House from April 21 to 23, 2026 - combined with the latest technical innovations and solutions. In order to reach customers worldwide, the Open House 2026 will once again take place virtually and will be streamed live over three days in different time zones. Participants can follow the program with presentations, live demonstrations and discussion panels online or visit one of the worldwide venues.

Holistic view of paint shops at the Dürr Open House

Dürr will be presenting its solutions along the entire paint shop process - from planning to implementation. "Increasing efficiency begins where the prerequisites for energy-saving processes, economical space concepts and optimally coordinated interfaces are laid: Key levers for cost savings can be found as early as the plant planning stage," emphasizes Bruno Welsch, COO of Dürr Systems AG. "At the Open House, we will be demonstrating potential savings in space, energy and investment costs using specific examples." Dürr's holistic approach has resulted in EcoQPower - an energy concept that considers the paint shop as a fully networked overall system for the first time. Heat and cold flows are no longer used in isolation, but are recovered and distributed via an interconnected system - energy circulates instead of being lost. Particularly suitable for electrified paint shops, EcoQPower enables savings of up to 25 percent and supports operators in achieving their CO₂ targets. Digital control and analysis systems are becoming an increasingly important factor in optimizing plant performance. With the SCADA system DXQcontrol and DXQanalyze, Dürr is showcasing central, high-performance software solutions that control processes system-wide and at the same time provide data-based insights to reduce downtimes and sustainably increase overall plant effectiveness.

Dürr innovations for sustainable automotive painting

Dürr stands for technology leadership and sets standards with new developments for sustainable processes and lower material usage per painted car body. "Our innovative strength is evident where technical progress creates measurable benefits. This is precisely what our innovations deliver: more efficient process steps, energy consumption and solutions that make our customers competitive in the long term," explains Dr. Lars Friedrich, CEO of Dürr Systems AG. With the highly efficient EcoBell4 HTE atomizer, Dürr is once again reducing overspray and thus enabling even more compact booth layouts. In addition, the new EcoRP4 robot generation offers better accessibility thanks to optimized arm geometry and ensures precise painting results with high flexibility. In addition to EcoPaintJet Pro for overspray-free two-color painting without masking, Dürr is presenting the EcoNextJet. The applicator enables high-resolution individual graphics to be applied directly to the car body using digital printing. Registration for the Open House for Dürr customers is possible online.
