Denios celebrated its 40th anniversary at its company grounds in Bad Oeynhausen

On July 4, 2026, Denios SE celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding at its company grounds in Bad Oeynhausen: Several hundred employees and their families, as well as numerous guests from the business community, politics, and public life in the region, gathered for the occasion.
Right next to the Denios production facility in Bad Oeynhausen, a festival arena was set up featuring a large festival tent, culinary delights, live music, and a varied program that lasted well into the night. Denios opened its doors in the afternoon and invited guests to take a look behind the scenes of the internationally successful family-owned company. Guided tours of the production and administrative areas impressively demonstrated how ideas are transformed into innovative solutions for the safe handling of hazardous substances. The outdoor area was also bustling with activity. CEO and Managing Director Helmut Dennig looked back on four decades of company history. He traced the arc of an extraordinary success story—from a small company with a bold idea to an international market leader: “When we founded Denios in 1986, we had no idea where this journey would take us. What we’re celebrating today is the result of passion, trust, and the daily dedication of many wonderful people. This success belongs to our employees—to them I extend my heartfelt thanks.”
Denios Will Remain a Family-Owned Business
At the same time, Dennig made it clear that Denios will remain a family-owned business in the future. With the arrival of his son Dominik Dennig, the next generation is already taking on responsibility and will continue the company’s success story together with the employees. Bad Oeynhausen’s mayor, Lars Bökenkröger, also offered his personal congratulations on the anniversary. He described Denios as one of the region’s major employers and recognized the company as a key driver of innovation and a reliable partner for Bad Oeynhausen as a business hub. He noted that Denios’s development is closely linked to that of the city. He is therefore all the more pleased to be able to celebrate this special anniversary together with the company. Following the official program, the festivities continued with music, and the anniversary celebrations concluded with a laser show.
