Adphos' aLite drying and curing technology has once again been selected by a leading Asian steel manufacturer. It will replace the old hot air convection oven and enables CO2 emission-free coil coating.

The purely electrothermal system from Adphos is based on photonic energy and is used as a multi-frequency technology. The implementation of the system with aLite brings important advantages: space savings of over 80 percent and a drastic reduction in energy consumption of at least 66 percent. In addition, the system enables high-precision, dynamically controlled coil coating production, which is completely CO2 emission-free and thus enables sustainable production.

The versatile aLite technology is suitable for water-, solvent- and even powder-based surface coatings. It can be integrated into an existing coil coating line as an upgrade or new placement, or designed as a completely stand-alone greenfield solution. The drying/curing time is only 3-5 seconds. By upgrading to the aLite curing system, the Asian steel manufacturer will significantly increase its production efficiency, noticeably reduce operating costs and drastically minimize its ecological footprint.
