Adler Legno Aqua-Oil Plus for more durability and naturalness

Adler is launching a water-based oil for furniture and interior design that provides extra resistance for particularly natural surfaces - both in terms of look and ingredients.
Oiled surfaces are very popular. However, most oils stain the wood relatively strongly - an effect that is not always pleasing. Water-based oils, on the other hand, often show weaknesses in their resistance. This is why wood coating expert Adler has now developed an all-round improved oil that brings all the challenges under one roof: the new Legno Aqua-Oil Plus combines good chemical and mechanical resistance with a particularly natural appearance. "Legno Aqua-Oil Plus can be used to create wood surfaces with a distinctly natural character. This impression is further enhanced by a very pleasant feel," explains Gabriel Partl, Head of the Furniture Varnishes, Stains and Oils (Commercial) Development Group at Adler. At the same time, his team has succeeded in significantly increasing the resistance to liquids as well as the cream and grease resistance of the surface treatment. Thanks to the use of modern raw materials, wood finished with Legno Aqua-Oil Plus is equipped to withstand all the stresses and strains of everyday life.
Lego Aqua-Oil Plus for a more natural wood finish
But that's not all - the Adler developers were able to set another milestone, especially when it comes to the ingredients: The bio-based raw material content of the finished surface treatment has been increased to around 50 percent, while the solvent content of the oil has been reduced to less than 3 percent: "Lego Aqua-Öl Plus is therefore a particularly sustainable solution for commercial and industrial users who value environmental protection and pleasant working conditions for their employees," emphasizes Partl. The application of Legno Aqua-Oil Plus is extremely simple and efficient: it can be sprayed or rolled on, dries quickly, is easy to sand and is suitable for all common types of furniture wood. For an even more natural look - especially on light-colored woods or reclaimed wood - the actually colorless oil can be lightened with a small amount of Adler Aqua-Tint Polar White.
