5 years Adler-Lacke Benelux

Five years after its foundation, the Adler sales company Adler Benelux is now a force to be reckoned with in the Dutch coatings market. Managing Director Leon Cremers has big goals for the next five years.
What began in 2018 as a "one-man show" by Cremers, a passionate salesman, has now grown into a colorful team of nine salespeople and employees at the service base in Heeze. "At the beginning, it was of course a challenge to make the Adler brand known here, but with our high-quality products we were able to establish ourselves quickly," Cremers recounts. Above all, the wide range of innovative and environmentally friendly waterborne coatings has met with great interest in the Netherlands: "Sustainability is a huge topic here, and at Adler we can offer the perfect products of very high quality for this," says Cremers. As a result, he and his team quickly succeeded in making a name for themselves, especially among carpenters, kitchen and furniture manufacturers. "One of our first customers was furniture manufacturer Table du Sud - at the time a company with 15 employees that has since enjoyed great success with surfaces from Adler and has now grown to ten times its size," Cremers recalls. DKG, the largest kitchen manufacturer in the Netherlands, also relies on Adler products, while window manufacturers, painting and wood construction companies are also supplied.
At the same time, Adler has continuously expanded its service at the base in Heeze: Seminars and customer training courses are offered on a regular basis, special color shades are discontinued and tinted in the coloristics department, and field staff are quickly on site in person to deal with special customer concerns. Bernd Pichler, Sales & Marketing Manager at Adler, is also satisfied: "The step into the Dutch market has proven to be the right one for us, because with our products we can comprehensively cover the high demands in terms of quality, innovation and sustainability." This is why Adler is sticking to the consistent development of the sales company even in economically uncertain times: "Adler Benelux has developed into an important building block within the Adler Group and we are very proud that we have been able to win a number of renowned customers in the Netherlands," says Pichler. And what plans does Dutch Adler have for the next five years? Cremers still sees great potential above all in the furniture industry, but also in wood construction - not only in the Netherlands, but also in neighboring Belgium. In addition, it is important to further expand the structures of Adler Benelux in order to continue to guarantee the high standard of service and personal support from the sales and technical team.
