Yaskawa at the Euroblech 2024

Yaskawa has been supplying robot-based turnkey welding systems from its own European system construction for exactly 40 years and is illustrating this anniversary at its stand at Euroblech 2024 with a complex arc welding cell.
In the demo welding cell at Yaskawa's Euroblech stand in Hall 26 (26-D56) from October 22 - 25, 2024, four robots from the Motoman AR series will be working on a battery tray. They are equipped with arc welding sources from various manufacturers. They will also be active as dancers, demonstrating the "Multi-Robot-Synchro" function, which ensures precise synchronization of the robots and the positioner. The robots can be controlled either synchronously or independently of each other in groups of two, three or four robots. The positioner, an RWV2, also comes from Yaskawa's own production and is therefore representative of welding systems of all sizes, which the company has been planning and realizing in Europe for four decades.
In addition, welding robots from the AR and SP series demonstrate their strengths in arc, laser and spot welding: the AR series supports all conceivable welding methods and processes. The SP series are highly flexible and powerful spot welding robots that are also suitable for handling applications. A laser hybrid application at the trade fair stand illustrates the advantages such as higher welding speeds, better seam quality, more stable processes and less component distortion. The Weld4Me CE cell, an easy-to-operate, collaborative, robot-based arc welding station with a Cobot HC10DT IP67, offers a solution for small and medium-sized companies with small batch sizes and a high number of variants. As an easy-to-install alternative or supplement to manual MIG/MAG welding with air-cooled welding equipment, it increases productivity while ensuring consistently high weld seam quality. Last but not least, the Motoman robots use servo drives produced in-house. At Euroblech, however, Yaskawa will not only be demonstrating its own expertise as a leading supplier of drive and servo technology, but also of control technology: the iCube Control automation platform will be gradually expanded into a comprehensive system for motion control and automation - and thus into a technically coordinated overall solution for industry-specific control systems, from engineering software and controller hardware to integrated chip technology.
