Big Data use in production with the i3 Mechatronics concept, new hardware components for the i³ Control automation platform, an update of visualization hardware and software, and the latest LA700 lift inverter: Yaskawa has these and other examples of comprehensive automation, drive, control, and robotics solutions in its luggage at SPS 2023.

Once again, Yaskawa is putting the i³ Control automation platform in the focus of its trade show appearance at SPS 2023 (Nov. 14 - 16, 2023, Nuremberg Exhibition Center - Booth No. 7-340): The system forms a technically coordinated overall solution for industry-specific controllers - from engineering software to controller hardware to integrated chip technology. And, in perspective, also beyond that. After this new platform was presented for the first time at the last SPS, the complete controller portfolio of the iC922x series will now follow this year. The Yaskawa portfolio of HMIs and panel PCs also promises hardware and software innovations: Among other things, the new generation will be programmable with the new "YASKAWA Designer" visualization software. This is integrated into i³ Engineer, the software environment of the i³ CONTROL platform.

In the area of lift-specific frequency inverters, Yaskawa is also providing an exclusive preview of the upcoming LA700 series at the SPS trade fair: the newly developed devices are powerful, flexible, but quieter in operation and offer an app function for programming and monitoring remotely. Yaskawa responds to the current changes in the automation industry with a compatible and off-the-shelf alternative: the 300S+ high-speed control system easily makes the existing control environment fit for the future. Last but not least, Yaskawa robots can also be experienced in action at the SPS: the focus is on the current Cobot ecosystem, Motoman industrial robots for handling, welding, palletizing and many other applications, as well as robots "made in Europe".
