Hikmicro showcases thermal imaging and acoustic cameras at Control 2024

Hikmicro will be showcasing its thermal imaging and acoustic camera solutions for the industrial sector at the Control 2024 trade fair in Stuttgart (April 23-26, 2024) at Stand 8104 in Hall 8.
At Control 2024, thermal imaging camera specialist Hikmicro will be presenting industrial solutions for process monitoring, efficient production, thermography of electrical systems, pipe and leak detection as well as condition-based maintenance with thermal imaging and acoustic cameras. The devices on show include hand-held thermal imaging cameras such as the Eco series, the M series, the Gx1 series, the pocket series in smartphone format and, as the top model, the SP series with its flexible lens. At Control, Hikmicro will also be presenting its AI series of acoustic cameras for potential monthly savings of several thousand euros. In addition to identifying these savings opportunities, Hikmicro is placing a special focus at Control on minimizing production costs, reducing the carbon footprint and the ability to generate ISO 50001-compliant reports. The acoustic cameras in the AI series, for example, are suitable for localizing compressed air leaks and detecting partial discharges in the high-voltage range. With 64 (model AI56) or 136 (model AI76) low-noise MEMS microphones and an adjustable bandwidth range from 2 kHz to 96 kHz, the Hikmicro AI series makes it easy to locate gas and compressed air leaks. It estimates the leak rates and costs for gas leak detection in real time - a monthly savings potential of several thousand euros is quite realistic. The AI series can filter noise in order to visualize it on its large 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen, even in noisy environments. When searching for partial discharges in the high-voltage range, the AI series detects corona, electrostatic or particle discharges (corona, particle, floating, surface), which can lead to device failures.
With the BX20, Hikmicro is also presenting a thermal imaging camera with ATEX and IECEx certification for working in potentially explosive atmospheres at Control. The BX20 has a high-resolution (256 × 192, 49,152 pixels) and highly sensitive (NETD < 40 mK) VOx IR detector as well as image optimization algorithms that ensure razor-sharp thermal images: With the help of Hikmicro SuperIR image optimization technology, the camera scales up the resolution of the recorded thermal images to 320 x 240 (76,800 pixels). The 25 Hz frame rate delivers smooth videos even when the camera is panned or when viewing moving targets. The Hikmicro SP60 high-end thermal imaging camera offers excellent value for money in the premium class. With its high thermal resolution, high temperature accuracy and razor-sharp image quality, the SP60 is ideal for industrial applications in preventive maintenance, power utilities and the oil and gas industry, among others. The M series with the M10 and M30 models is suitable for industrial maintenance applications, but also for applications in building thermography. With a resolution of up to 384 x 288 (110,592) pixels, its uncooled thermal image detector (vanadium oxide FPA, NETD <40 mK), an 8 megapixel camera for visible light and the fusion and picture-in-picture mode, it impresses in its class with outstanding image quality. The Eco series offers an affordable entry into the world of thermography. With its thermal resolution of 96 x 96 (9,216) pixels, it enables fast on-site troubleshooting.
