QIB Trainee Award 2023 announced
This year, the Qualitätsgemeinschaft Industriebeschichtung e.V. (QIB) will once again honor the best trainees in the profession of process mechanic for coating technology with a focus on powder coating. Applications for the QIB Trainee Award 2023 "Everyone needs powder" are now open.
With the "Everyone Needs Powder" award, which is being presented for the fourth time this year, the QIB wants to highlight the importance and appreciation of training. Training is the guarantor of quality and the answer to the shortage of skilled workers. All trainees who successfully complete or have completed their training in the calendar year 2023 can participate. Membership of the training company in the QIB is not of interest here, only the qualification of the graduate counts. An application for the award is possible until October 20, 2023.
The following documents must be submitted to the QIB office: Curriculum vitae, final report, half-year report, documentation of the final thesis as a PDF and a brief description of the training company with eight to ten pictures. After the application phase, an expert jury will select the best work from all incoming submissions. The award ceremony will take place as part of the Praxisforum Industriebeschichtung on November 16/17, 2023 in Wetzlar. The prize winners (1st - 3rd place) will be informed in advance by the QIB and invited to participate in the Praxisforum. The prizes are: 1st place: 500 EUR, cup and technical literature, 2nd place: 300 EUR, cup and technical literature, 3rd place: 200 EUR, cup and technical literature, 1st - 3rd place: participation in the Practical Forum (incl. overnight stay).
