Presentation of the 3rd Trainee Award at the 10th Industrial Coating Practice Forum

The signs are good that we can finally celebrate after a forced break of two years: The 10th QIB Industrial Coating Practice Forum will take place on November 17-18, 2022 in Wetzlar. The 2-day series of lectures will once again focus on current topics in the coating industry. After the corona crisis has already led to supply chain problems, the economic situation - especially in the energy sector - has worsened further. For this reason, in addition to the technical presentations, the "energy issue" will be examined in more detail. The entire program is published on the QIB event page.

A highlight on the evening of the first day will be the presentation of the trainee award "Everyone needs powder". "Training is the guarantor of quality and our answer to the shortage of skilled workers," says initiator Matthias Bader. The prize is intended to emphasize this and is being awarded for the third time. All trainees who have successfully completed their training as a process mechanic for coating technology with a focus on powder coating in 2020, 2021 or 2022 can take part. Applications will be accepted by the QIB office until October 14, 2022. The following documents must be submitted: CV, final certificate, half-year certificate, documentation of the final thesis as a PDF and a brief description of the training company with eight to ten pictures. A jury will select the best work from all applications. The winners will be invited to take part in the entire Praxisforum, including an overnight stay in a hotel, and will receive a cash prize, a trophy and specialist literature.
