Make-to-Order Days 2026: New trade fair for precision manufacturing

With the Make-to-Order Days, or MTO Days for short, a new event format will be launched on June 9 and 10, 2026 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre with a buyers' fair for precision parts, contract manufacturing and machining.
The new Make-to-Order Days buyers' fair for precision parts, contract manufacturing and machining is aimed specifically at decision-makers and buyers from future-oriented industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive technology and renewable energies. The focus is on order-related precision manufacturing. An area that is currently under enormous pressure to innovate and adapt. "Technological upheavals, geopolitical challenges and the rapid transformation of entire branches of industry are presenting many manufacturing companies with major tasks," says Sebastian Schmid, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Stuttgart. "With the Make-to-Order Days, we are creating a platform that specifically addresses these changes and is close to the needs of the industries."
MTO Days as a specialized procurement platform
The MTO Days bring together suppliers of precision manufacturing technology with industrial users from high-growth sectors such as defense and robotics. The new trade fair positions itself as a specialized procurement platform for strategic networking, innovation and business initiation. One particular advantage is that the MTO Days will take place at the same time as CastForge and Battery Show Europe. This results in valuable synergies for exhibiting companies and visitors. Especially from related fields of technology for which precision manufacturing plays a central role. In addition to the classic product show, the format offers a diverse supporting programme: a specialist forum addresses current topics relating to digitalization, precision and manufacturing trends and highlights these in a practical way. A central networking area and separate meeting rooms create ideal conditions for personal exchanges and confidential discussions.
