In 2024, the who's who of the metalworking industry will meet at AMB from September 10 to 14. Following the end of the registration phase in October 2023, the project team will now begin planning the halls. Once again, those responsible for the trade fair expect all ten exhibition halls to be fully booked.

"Despite the current volatile economic situation, the industry has firmly entered us in its trade fair calendars. The current number of stand space registrations, including the market and technology leaders, demonstrates the importance of AMB for the industry. Thank you for your loyalty, which drives us to keep developing. In 2024 you can once again look forward to the top platform for machinists from all over Europe and the world as an exhibitor or visitor," says Sebastian Schmid, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Stuttgart. In previous editions, AMB has exhausted all the capacities of the Stuttgart exhibition center. Based on the current number of registrations, the AMB project team is again planning to occupy all ten exhibition halls with a total of over 120,000 gross square meters of exhibition space in 2024.

The thematic structure and hall planning for AMB 2024 have already been defined. In the L-Bank Forum (Hall 1) and the Ceratizit Hall (Hall 3), trade visitors can find out about machining tools and clamping devices. The latest news on grinding, honing, polishing, lapping, deburring, gear cutting, surface technology and marking can be found in Hall 5, while the focus in the Mahle Hall (Hall 4) is on lathes. In the Oskar Lapp Hall (Hall 6), in addition to turning and milling machines, industrial robots and workpiece and tool handling will also be on show. Hall 7 is home to turning, milling and eroding machines as well as measuring technology, while Hall 9 focuses on milling and drilling machines. In the Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10), the focus is also on milling and turning. In the Alfred Kärcher Hall (Hall 8), exhibitors will provide information on components, assemblies and operating materials as well as everything to do with sawing machines. The topics of digitalization and software as well as control systems and drives will be located in and in front of Hall C2 (ICS). "With our unique location between Stuttgart International Airport, the A8 freeway and the B27 main road, we are easy to reach for visitors and exhibitors alike," emphasizes Sebastian Schmid. "In addition, we are connected to the public transport network via the S-Bahn and U-Bahn with short intervals. By the way, use of the S-Bahn and U-Bahn is free with your ticket. Whether you are a day visitor or staying for several days - the infrastructure and location of AMB offer you the ideal conditions for an all-round visit to the trade fair. We look forward to seeing you!"
