For the 19th Copper Symposium on 12 and 13 November 2025, organized by the Copper Association, scientific presentations and posters are still being sought - interested parties can submit their abstracts until 27 March 2025.

The Copper Symposium is the most important German-language platform for a professional exchange of experience between industry and university research and one of the most important materials science events on the subject of copper. In addition to the high-quality specialist presentations, participants particularly appreciate the opportunity to discuss future developments in materials and production technology and to define new research approaches. The event offers industry, research institutes and universities the opportunity to intensify dialogue and optimize cooperation.

In 2025, the Copper Symposium as a materials conference will focus on the following topics: Simulation & Modelling, Digitalization & AI, Material Design & Surface Technology, Additive Manufacturing, Joining & Manufacturing Technology and Circular Economy. By participating as a speaker, you have the opportunity to present and discuss topics to a larger specialist audience. The integrated poster session enables an intensive exchange with the conference participants on specific focal points: Independent of participation as a speaker, scientific posters can be submitted to be presented in an exhibition accompanying the event. There is also the option to present companies or universities/institutes via a stand booking. The program is expected to be available online on the Copper Association 's website at the end of May 2025. The presentations will be published in conference proceedings.
