Copper Symposium 2023 - Program is online

Anyone interested in attending this year's Copper Symposium should register by August 15, as the early bird discount is valid until then. Registrations for the renowned materials conference will be accepted until November 17, 2023.
On November 29 and 30, 2023, the Copper Association, together with Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Chair of Metallic Materials / Otto Schott Institute, will host this year's materials conference, the 18th Copper Symposium. This year's main topics are hydrogen, simulation/modeling, digitalization, new materials, additive manufacturing, joining, process engineering, and nano and surface technology. In addition to the technical presentations, there will also be an attractive supporting program with excursions to various institutes and companies in Jena. There is also the opportunity to present one's company or university as part of the event. For this purpose, various packages are offered, which can be booked as of now. Due to the spatial capacities, however, the number of exhibitors is limited.
The event will take place at the Steigenberger Espkalanda Hotel Jena, where a room contingent is also available for participants. Detailed information on the program as well as applications for participation are available on the website www.kupfer.de. The Copper Symposium is the most important German-speaking platform for a professional exchange of experience between industry and university research and one of the most important materials science events on the subject of copper. In addition to the high-quality technical presentations, participants particularly appreciate the opportunity to exchange ideas on future developments within materials and production technology and to define new research approaches.
