VOA offers laboratory workshop for anodizers

For the first time, the Association for the Surface Finishing of Aluminium e. V. (VOA) is offering a laboratory workshop for anodizers from 16 to 17 September 2024. The training program is suitable for both laboratory and production employees.
With the new laboratory workshop for anodizers, the VOA is fulfilling the frequently expressed wish of the surface finishing industry to work through various laboratory and measuring techniques in theory on the one hand and to carry them out themselves under professional guidance on the other, in order to delve even deeper into the world of anodizing. The VOA thus addresses both laboratory and production employees. The event is being held in cooperation with the fem Forschungsinstitut in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Registrations are still possible at short notice until 05.08.2024.
In addition to an introductory overview of the anodization process as a whole, the programme for the laboratory workshop includes the division of the maximum of 24 participants into three small groups, who will discuss the pre-treatment and anodization process, the dyeing and compaction process in detail and carry out the laboratory tests and measurements required for these work steps under professional guidance. Other interesting topics such as hydrogen recovery from the anodizing process or photocatalytic anodizing layers to reduce air pollution with nitrogen oxides are also on the agenda.
