VOA at the Aluminum 2024

At Aluminium in Düsseldorf from 8 to 10 October 2024, international trade visitors will find out about the latest solutions and technologies relating to the modern material aluminum, listen to renowned speakers from industry and science and exchange ideas with each other. The trade fair, which takes place every two years, brings together aluminum producers, the surface finishing industry, end users and technology suppliers along the entire value chain from more than 100 countries. The German Aluminium Surface Finishing Association (VOA) will be right in the middle of it all in Hall 3, Stand 3F70-10. The focus of Hall 3 this year will be on surface treatment with the Surface Pavilion, which will showcase the variety of surface processes and their design-oriented applications - from anodizing and coating to chemical treatment options and paint stripping through to quality management with the international quality marks Qualanod, Quaalicoat Qualstrip. The VOA team is looking forward to welcoming numerous members, other interested companies, students, trainees and representatives of other associations and the press to its stand. The presentation of the entire diversity and range of surface finishing means a great deal to the association. It puts the surface finishing industry at the center of attention for a broad audience, answers questions about this exciting sector and highlights the importance of the industry network at the VOA with its numerous, diverse member companies.

The Surface & Design Lounge directly opposite the VOA stand also invites visitors to engage in stimulating discussions - for example about the interesting companies in the surface finishing industry and their creative, wonderful ideas. Naturally, the VOA is responding to the recurring requests to present parts of its much-admired "stories of surfaces" collection. It is an example of what the relatively small industry can achieve with its diverse design options for aluminum surfaces. As a partner of the leading trade fair for the aluminum industry and its areas of application, the VOA is also involved in the Aluminum Conference, which addresses topics such as sustainability, the energy crisis, the transformation of the industry and the green future with expert presentations and discussion panels. On October 9, 2024, VOA Managing Director Dr. Alexa A. Becker will represent the surface finishing industry as part of the panel discussion on the forward-looking topic of "Sustainability & Circularity" from 10:00 to 12:30.
