Dürr Fluid Board: Compact modular paint metering and color change system

Dürr is thus expanding its Ready2integrate package, and customers can now quickly and easily create a high-quality overall concept consisting of control unit, dosing technology and applicator. The Fluid Board is designed to be fully managed by the EcoAUC control unit. It covers the most common 1K and 2K processes, both in the low and high pressure range, and supplies the EcoBell2 atomizer or the EcoGun spray gun with paint and rinsing material. This makes the product ideal for work in industrial painting technology, such as in the wood or construction industry or for automotive suppliers. The Fluid Board reduces the engineering and assembly work enormously. "The Fluid Board is delivered fully assembled, only hoses and cables need to be connected," explains Stephan Voigt, Product Engineer at Dürr. The fluid board contains the EcoMCC3 color changer, which can be used to provide up to ten colors. The EcoValve7 series valves with up to three hardeners are also installed. The EcoPump9 for high-precision dosing and the compact EcoFlow controller for adjusting the operating pressure are also used. When developing the Fluid Board, attention was paid to a compact design so that it can also be installed in small spaces. According to the manufacturer, there is no comparable product on the market to date.

The Fluid Board is the first product in the field of industrial painting technology that Dürr has equipped with digital technical documentation. The EcoDocu simplifies the commissioning, operation and maintenance of the paint dosing and color change system. As the Fluid Board is an assembly of various Dürr components, the integrator receives overall documentation. This describes the various components and includes process diagrams as examples. EcoDocu also contains a parts catalog, a shopping cart for entering orders or inquiries and a convenient search function. With the Ready2integrate concept, Dürr has been pursuing the goal of coordinating individual products in such a way that a high-quality overall concept consisting of control unit, dosing technology and applicator can be created quickly and easily. The Fluid Board is a further piece of the puzzle here, enabling integrators to install application technology at the end customer's premises within a very short time using plug & play.
