Polytec with terahertz measuring system for thickness analysis
Polytec is expanding its portfolio with a powerful system for thickness analysis: with the "Irys" terahertz measuring system from Spanish manufacturer das-Nano, the Baden-based company is adding a sophisticated system for automated industrial applications to its existing product range.
Polytec is now providing consulting, sales and training for the "Irys" terahertz measuring system for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The system works on the basis of electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz range and offers non-contact and non-destructive ultra-fast measurements of paint and material layers. Particularly noteworthy is the multi-layer analysis in real time, in which up to five layers can be recorded simultaneously - for different materials and material states.
