Polytec now offers vibration and structural analysis, modal testing and non-contact surface measurement as a service. In many cases, contract measurements often offer an economically attractive alternative.

Quality cannot be "tested", but it can be checked in order to further develop, modify or optimize products and production on the basis of the test results. Important tools for this are, for example, optical measuring systems, which can be used to evaluate vibration behavior, or measurements to check surface properties in order to determine roughness or optimize coatings. If production does not require 100 percent control and measurement tasks are more sporadic or short-term, job order measurements often offer an economically attractive alternative. Polytec therefore also offers vibration and structure analyses, modal tests and non-contact surface metrology as a service, either on the test benches in the application centers in Waldbronn, in Japan and in the USA - or with transportable devices directly on site, for example if the test specimens are difficult to transport.

Outsourcing measurement tasks can have many advantages: In the development of new products, precise measurement data is thus quickly available to better assess fundamental properties and functions. The service provider always works with up-to-date systems that are suitable for the measurement task. This guarantees high data quality and leads to meaningful results, especially since the entire expert knowledge is available for the evaluation. There is no need for employees in the company to be specially trained on the measuring equipment. Anyone planning to purchase measuring systems can also try out potential solutions in advance with their specific task in the real operating environment as part of a feasibility study and get advice from the experts.
