With the Oltrogge measuring fitting, industrial companies now have a particularly efficient and precise solution for analyzing compressed air. Unlike conventional methods, this technology allows sensors to be inserted directly into the compressed air line.

A reliable compressed air supply is the backbone of many industrial processes, including in surface technology. Precise monitoring and control of compressed air quality is therefore crucial for many companies. Critical measured values in the compressed air supply include, for example, the overpressure to prevent pressure drops and damage, the volume flow to detect leaks and energy optimization potential as well as the dew point and water content to prevent condensation and corrosion. However, the successive installation of different sensors to determine these values can lead to costly interruptions.

Oltrogge measuring fitting measures in just 30 seconds

The Oltrogge measuring fitting addresses this challenge with a design that, according to the manufacturer, is particularly easy to operate intuitively - even without special training. Thanks to the integrated safety ball valve, the air supply can be interrupted at any time with a single movement. This manual shut-off function is also an effective leakage stop, which makes interrupting the compressed air flow for upcoming maintenance work or planned breaks in operation as simple and reliable as flicking a switch. Sensor installation is just as user-friendly. A groove in the thread ensures that sensors are always inserted into the compressed air line correctly and optimally aligned. This not only increases the quality and reliability of the measurement results, but also significantly minimizes the forced breaks in production that are usually caused by this process. With the Oltrogge measuring fitting, it takes just 30 seconds until the sensor is installed and ready to read.

Efficient monitoring of compressed air

The robustness of the measuring fitting, available in brass or stainless steel, makes it a reliable solution even under demanding industrial conditions. It is suitable for pipe diameters from DN15-100 with a pressure range of up to 16 bar and can be optionally equipped with extensions for multi-sensor use. "Our measuring fitting offers industrial companies the opportunity to efficiently monitor and optimize their compressed air," explains Jerome Abeler, Sales Manager at Oltrogge. "This not only contributes to improving product quality, but also helps to reduce energy costs and extend the service life of machines."
