The Clean Tech Convention is first and foremost a creative event for new ideas, perspectives, and concepts. To this end, the Cleaning Excellence Center (CEC) brings together industry professionals with thought leaders and like-minded individuals. Away from day-to-day business, this creates space and inspiration for new ideas, approaches, and concepts to address participants’ current and future challenges in the fields of industrial component cleaning and technical cleanliness.

In 2026, German industry will face significant economic and structural challenges. Recent years have been marked by a weak economy, high energy and production costs, a growing shortage of skilled workers, and increasing regulatory requirements. At the same time, markets and international competitive conditions are changing. Digitalization, artificial intelligence, and new customer requirements are further accelerating the pace of change.

For companies, this trend means increasing pressure to make processes more efficient, make better use of existing resources, and at the same time reliably meet high quality standards. Industrial component cleaning and technical cleanliness are also directly affected by these developments. The day’s events will kick off with a keynote address by Tobias Roese, leadership keynote speaker, coach, German sprint champion, and branch manager at BVMID. His presentation, “Motivation and Growth Mindset,” will inspire a willingness to embrace change and foster entrepreneurial development. Following that, five experts from the worlds of business, technology, and practice will offer insights into their respective fields in concise pitch sessions.

The Clean Tech Convention deliberately focuses on an interactive format. The pitch sessions are followed by three rounds of workshops. Participants can delve deeper into various topics, discuss them, and work on them together. Each workshop is followed by immediate feedback.

Networking is an integral part of the entire event day. In addition to the lunch break, other short breaks provide opportunities for conversations and the exchange of real-world industry experiences. Participants can begin making initial connections in a relaxed atmosphere as early as the pre-event program on October 18. At the conclusion, the day’s key highlights and insights will be summarized. This process will synthesize the individual ideas into a comprehensive picture of the developments and potential solutions that may be relevant to the participants and their companies.
