Basic seminar "Quality assurance in component cleaning"
The FiT seminar "Quality assurance in component cleaning" qualifies employees in the theory and practice of industrial parts cleaning. Extensive know-how on the design and optimization of cleaning processes is on the seminar agenda in March 2024.
As a quality and cost-relevant production step whose importance is constantly increasing, component cleaning makes a significant contribution to value creation. In order to meet not only component-specific cleanliness requirements but also increasing demands on resource efficiency, extensive know-how is required for the design and optimization of cleaning processes. The basic seminar "Quality assurance in component cleaning" imparts this knowledge in theory and practice. The two-day event to qualify employees in the field of component cleaning will be held on March 6 and 7, 2024 by the Fachverband industrielle Teilereinigung (FiT) at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences.
Qualification and further training event for quality assurance in component cleaning
Knowledge of cleaning technology has rarely been part of the curriculum during vocational training or studies. In day-to-day operations, this shortcoming often results in components that are not clean enough for subsequent production processes. This results in costly reworking, unnecessarily high energy and resource consumption and high costs that reduce added value. Cost-effective operation therefore depends crucially on the cleanliness requirements resulting from subsequent steps such as coating, bonding, welding or assembly being met reliably, efficiently and sustainably. The Fachverband industrielle Teilereinigung e. V. (FiT) imparts the know-how required for an optimal design or adaptation of the cleaning processes in the basic seminar "Quality assurance in component cleaning". The two-day qualification and further training event is organized and held annually by fairXperts GmbH & Co. Participants rate the learning success with an average overall rating of 1.5. The fact that the number of participants is limited to 40 certainly contributes to the successful transfer of knowledge. The next seminar will take place on March 6 and 7, 2024 at Heilbronn University.
Process design and monitoring in theory and practice
The course content is taught to participants by experts with practical experience from various areas of cleaning and application technology. The course begins with a keynote speech explaining the fundamental issues involved in the systematic planning and optimization of cleaning processes. Other lecture topics on the first morning include the composition and mode of action of aqueous cleaning media and organic solvents, cleaning concepts and wet-chemical processes as well as monitoring cleaning media and component cleanliness. The content of these presentations will be deepened in the afternoon through topic-specific practicals. Small groups and suitably equipped laboratory rooms at Heilbronn University ensure optimum knowledge transfer.
The presentations on the second morning include basic know-how to enable the best possible selection of cleaning chemicals, processes and plant technology. In addition, solutions for monitoring quality-influencing parameters during cleaning and checking component cleanliness will be presented and their functionality explained. In the practical part in the afternoon, participants will be familiarized live with the strengths and limitations of various solutions for monitoring particulate and film cleanliness as well as media monitoring. They will be able to apply the various solutions themselves.
The target group of the basic seminar are specialists and managers from development, design, work preparation, production and quality management from the metalworking and processing, automotive, mechanical engineering, electronics production, precision mechanics, optics, medical technology, surface and coating technology and other industrial sectors in which component cleanliness is a quality criterion.
