The current range of tube connectors from Aluminium-Gießerei Ernst Brinck GmbH is designed for the realization of railings, guardrails, platforms, shelves, staircases and support systems in industry, trade and commerce. It currently comprises almost 500 rigid and flexible geometry types and offers plenty of creative scope for designing high-quality tubular constructions. As the company can also produce various surface qualities, the aluminium tube connectors can be adapted to a wide range of functional and visual requirements.
Pipe connector made of corrosion- and weather-resistant aluminum alloy
Rigid or flexible, closed or multi-shell, for plugging or clamping, straight or angled - Brinck's standard range currently includes almost 500 different pipe connectors. They are all made of a corrosion and weather-resistant aluminum alloy in accordance with EN 573-3 (DIN 1715) and are available in many different sizes. All metric types have diameters of 25, 30, 40, 45 and 50 millimetres; all imperial types are available with diameters of 1 inch (33.7 mm), 11/4 inch (43 mm), 1½ inch (48.3 mm) and 2 inch (60 mm). However, Brinck's range of pipe connectors not only covers a wide spectrum of technical, installation and design requirements thanks to the large number of variants - the surface finish of the light metal pipe connectors from Haan is also of decisive importance in many cases. This is because the company can use various finishing processes to adapt its tube connectors both visually and functionally to special design requirements and environmental conditions as well as the tubes used. In addition to various surface finishes and powder coatings in any RAL shade, there is also the option of individual special solutions.
Mechanical finishing: textured or glossy
In terms of mechanical finishing, Brinck's process engineering expertise ranges from barrel polishing and high-gloss polishing to technical (E6/EV1) and decorative (E5/EV1) anodizing. All four methods can be used to meet high visual requirements, which are typical for applications with special demands on design and aesthetics - for example, tube connector constructions in store fitting and trade fair construction. In addition, decorative anodized tube connectors in particular offer great advantages in terms of hygiene and ease of cleaning, which is why this surface quality is often used for railings in clinics, research institutes or rehabilitation facilities. For railings, ramps and platforms in industrial environments as well as special vintage applications - for example in the catering industry - untreated aluminum connectors are often the ideal solution.
Up and down the color palette
For applications where colored pipe connectors are required, Brinck offers powder-coated surfaces within the RAL scale. The company supplies red and yellow pipe connectors for use in fire protection or public transportation, for example. Silver and blue-coated connectors are produced for maritime applications and technical relief services, while black or company-colour-coated tube connectors are often used in trade fair and store fitting as well as in mechanical and plant engineering. Tubular connectors with white powder-coated surfaces are primarily reserved for medical and clinical applications, while the sports and leisure equipment sector is more colorful.
In addition to these standard products, Brinck also implements customer-specific special solutions as part of its flexible engineering and production capacities. It is also worth mentioning at this point that, in addition to aluminum connectors, the company can also offer matching steel and aluminum tubes in the desired colors, lengths and diameters. Aluminium tubes are available in polished, press-finished, anodized and powder-coated surface qualities, while steel tubes are available plastic-coated and with a galvanized surface. (OM-3/24)
