Fein presents the world's most compact magnetic core drilling machine with clockwise/anticlockwise rotation - the KBC 36 Magforce. It has been developed for use in the tightest of spaces and is also perfectly suited for mobile use on construction sites or in workshops thanks to its low overall weight of 8.5 kilograms.

The KBC 36 Magforce magnetic core drilling machine is characterized by its compact design, which is unique on the market. The manufacturer Fein has developed it as a problem solver for assembly: With an overall height of just 169 millimeters and an overall length of 290 millimeters, the Magforce handles core drilling in confined spaces that are inaccessible to classic core drilling machines. For example, the Fein KBC 36 Magforce fits between the two flanges of an HEB-200 steel beam with a clearance of 170 millimeters. It can also be used in vehicle and trailer construction in very limited installation space. The high gear ratio of the Magforce ensures a good view of the drilling tool and the drilling site. In addition, the machine can be operated conveniently and in a space-saving manner using a ½ in ratchet or an 8-millimeter Allen wrench. A stroke range of 46 millimeters enables cutting depths of up to 35 millimeters. Weighing just 8.5 kilograms, the lightest magnetic core drill on the market can be set up vertically and overhead. Magforce manufactures all load-bearing components from lightweight, high-strength cast aluminum and has also optimized the weight of the powerful magnet with a magnetic holding force of 10,000 newtons. All components are designed to be extremely torsion-resistant and resilient for heavy-duty use in industry and the trades.

A powerful, brushless Fein PowerDrive motor with 1,200 watts ensures high torque and is characterized by a long service life and freedom from maintenance. A special feature of the compact 1-speed Compact Magnetic Core Drill is the clockwise/anticlockwise rotation and the electronic speed adjustment. Thus, the machine covers the most important drilling tasks such as core drilling, spiral drilling, countersinking and tapping. The magnet with 10,000 Newton holding force ensures a reliable stand. A tilt sensor stops the machine immediately if it slips, thus ensuring very safe working with the Magforce. The self-explanatory, durable operating elements with comfort magnetic holding force display are located in the user's direct field of vision.
