Wagner presents the DP 1-40 double diaphragm pump for airspray coatings in the low-pressure range. The pump reduces material, solvent and rinsing agent consumption and is suitable for a wide range of wet paint applications.

The double diaphragm pump DP 1-40 from Wagner is the technically optimized successor to the DD 10 - a universal solution for airspray applications in the low-pressure range. On the one hand, it is suitable for manual applications with small processing quantities for the direct supply of one to two guns. On the other hand, the pump can also be integrated into systems with mixing or color change systems and supply up to four automatic airspray guns. Users from the plastics, wood, metal or glass industry thus receive a compact, robust and universally applicable solution for a wide range of wet paint applications. According to the manufacturer, the small double stroke volume of the DP 1-40 significantly reduces material and solvent consumption and ensures efficient color changes and fast cleaning. A typical rinsing process only requires around 0.4 liters of rinsing agent - up to 70% less compared to similar pumps on the market. This also reduces VOC emissions and material costs - a major advantage for frequent color changes or small batch sizes.

High-quality surfaces without material pressure regulator

Another key feature of the DP 1-40 is the particularly low-pulsation material flow. This means that the pump does not require a material pressure regulator for most applications - unlike conventional double diaphragm pumps. The result is an extremely uniform spray pattern. Without a material pressure regulator, the investment costs are also lower, less flushing is required and maintenance is easier. With a starting pressure of 1.0 bar, the pump is suitable for a wide range of applications. For processes that require lower working pressures, a regulator can be installed at any time. The pump is equipped with two precisely adjustable regulators for pump pressure and atomizing air, which makes it very easy to operate. The quick adjustment of the settings contributes to safe and efficient processes in daily operation.

Pump for a wide range of coating materials

The DP 1-40 can also be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of working environments. The operating unit can be mounted horizontally or vertically as required. A wide range of accessories is available for different installation requirements, ranging from stands and mobile trolleys to various suction hoses, filters and gun distributors. All wetted parts are made of aluminum, stainless steel, POM and PA. This means that a wide variety of coating materials can be processed with a single pump: Water- and solvent-based materials, 2K paints, or even shear- and moisture-sensitive materials. The modular design ensures that service work can be carried out with minimal effort. All relevant components are easily accessible and can be replaced using standard tools. A membrane can be changed in less than 15 minutes.
