VDMA: Research Association for Air and Drying Technology (FLT) with new management team

There is a change in leadership at the Research Association for Air Handling and Drying Technology (FLT): Dietmar Goericke hands over the FLT management after 23 years. His successor, Robert Hild, now manages the business of FLT in addition to the VDMA General Air Technology Association.
At the recent members' and board meeting of the Research Association for Air and Drying Technology, Robert Hild was appointed to office as the new FLT Managing Director. At the same time, the association bid farewell to the previous managing director Dietmar Goericke. "In 23 years of management, Dietmar Goericke has steadily advanced the Research Association for Air and Drying Technology through good management and trusting cooperation," FLT Chairman Ralf Wagner expressed his thanks. "I am pleased to hand over the office into trusting hands. In doing so, I see great opportunities to further advance FLT in pre-competitive joint research. There is great potential in the shoulder-to-shoulder cooperation between FLT and the ALT trade association," Goericke said, at the same time expressing his gratitude for the constructive cooperation with a great team so far.
Increased public relations work by the Research Association for Air and Drying Technology (FLT) in the future is one of the goals Hild is striving for as the association's new managing director. At the same time, he sees a lot of potential through FLT's affiliation with the VDMA General Air Technology Association. "Being able to make even better use of synergies between research and our trade association is a really good thing," says Hild. "I'm very much looking forward to future collaboration and advancing our common themes." Since its founding in 1964, the association has stood for innovation in air technology. In the FLT network, manufacturers of ventilation systems as well as specialist planners, system operators and building owners work together successfully within the framework of pre-competitive joint research.
