Schweitzer-Chemie becomes part of the EnviroWater Group
SKion Water GmbH acquired 100 percent of the shares in Schweitzer-Chemie GmbH on April 1, 2023. Schweitzer-Chemie will continue to operate as an independent company within the EnviroWater Group, which belongs to SKion Water.
With the addition of Schweitzer-Chemie GmbH as a specialist in water treatment, the EnviroWater Group has gained one of the most successful medium-sized companies in the water sector on the German market, thus significantly expanding its commitment to professional water management in industrial and building technology applications. With a triad of chemistry, technology and technical service, Schweitzer-Chemie offers first-class solutions for the entire spectrum of applications in the fields of cooling water, boiler water, humidification systems, drinking water, process water and hygienic monitoring. The Freiberg-based company has total sales of over 33 million euros and 225 employees serving more than 10,000 customers. Even after 22 years, the dynamic growth continues unabated. The company impresses with its range of products and services - and gains an average of 2.5 new customers per day.
