Sata presents painting technology innovations

At Automechanika 2024, Sata presented its innovations as a specialist in wet painting technologies. These include the Jet X and LCS premium spray gun, the liner cup system, a new filter half mask and a paint suit.
The new product that attracted the most interest at Automechanika 2024 was the Jet X premium spray gun. What immediately stands out as a novelty is the simple, elegant exterior in matt black with red accents. According to the company, the most important innovations are of a more technical nature. An innovative nozzle technology is intended to set new standards in atomization: The labyrinth airflow system invented by Sata guides the air in the nozzle so that it exits free of turbulence and pulsation. This ensures that the material is atomized extremely finely and homogeneously. The spray jet is said to be particularly easy to control with optimized material distribution and clearly defined run-off zones. Another new feature is the large digital unit on the top-of-the-range Jet X Digital Pro model. The Adam X Pro boasts a number of functions that had never been seen in a spray gun before this trade fair. It displays the input flow pressure - and much more: it also displays any deviations from the previously set target pressure. If this deviation exceeds the value of 0.2 bar, a visual alarm is triggered. The Adam X Pro also provides information on the ambient temperature and battery status. The digital unit also keeps precise statistics on operating hours, painting time and the number of trigger pulls, i.e. how often the trigger guard was actuated. Important data can be transferred to a digital dashboard on a PC or smartphone - ideal for tracking and analyzing the painting process. The Jet X also has a number of other clever features, such as a trigger guard that can be removed in no time at all and without tools, with an integrated key for the paint nozzle.
The second major innovation with the Sata logo was perhaps not as eagerly awaited - but it is all the more exciting: LCS, the Liner Cup System from Sata. Although it is by no means the first on the market, it has a decisive advantage: It fits all Sata spray guns with a QCC cup connection - and without an adapter. This improves the weight and center of gravity of the gun and makes cleaning easier. When asked about other product benefits, we hear from company circles: High-quality, particle-free screens that click into place. A quadruple bayonet lock on the lid, which shows at a glance that it is correctly closed. Complete scaling and high-quality materials. The curtain was also raised on a new respiratory protection product: we are talking about the new generation of Air Star F, the filtering half-mask from Sata. According to the manufacturer, it is lighter than its predecessor, offers a larger field of vision and is even more comfortable to wear. The filters can now be clicked in quickly and easily. The Air Star F 2.0 also comes in a new design, with lots of black and red accents. To match the mask, Sata also presented a new paint suit - also in stylish black, of course. The Sata Suit Standard is designed for comfort and freedom of movement: It has an ergonomic cut and offers numerous adjustment options, as well as looking great.
