Presentations wanted for DVS Congress 2023
Call for Papers: DVS - Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e. V. - is calling for proposals for papers for the DVS Congress in 2023. Under the umbrella of the DVS Congress, the Large Welding Conference, the Underwater Technology Conference and the DVS Campus for the promotion of young talents will take place.
Experts, users, scientists, manufacturers, industry experts and young academics are invited to actively contribute to the DVS Congress 2023 and enrich it with their knowledge. Proposals for presentations on the following topics are welcome: Occupational safety, health protection, environmental protection; Workshop practitioners / joining technology from practice for practice; Interesting joining technology designs; Damage cases and repair concepts; Rules and regulations, qualification, quality assurance, testing technology; Processes and equipment (new and future joining technologies); Welding; Cutting; Bonding; Additive manufacturing; Thermal coating / surface technology; Brazing; Base, filler and auxiliary materials; Research and development: Transfer to Application; Energy Technology/Energy Turnaround; Steel Construction/Bridge Construction; Aerospace; Electromobility; Multi-Material Design: Future-Oriented Lightweight Construction through Joining Technology; Artificial Intelligence: Solutions for Joining Technology; Digitalization in Joining Technology; Vehicle Construction; and Underwater Technology.
Bids for presentations will be submitted online only. After the deadline, the respective program commissions, staffed with renowned experts from industry and research, will review the submitted lecture proposals. The commissions evaluate the submissions from a technical point of view and then compile the lecture program for next year's event. The DVS Congredd will take place parallel to the world's leading trade fair Schweissen & Schneiden (Welding & Cutting) from September 12 to 15, 2023, at the Congress Center of Messe Essen.
