Parts2clean 2025, the leading trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning, has come to a successful close. From October 7 to 9, 2025, trade visitors and exhibitors met at the trade fair grounds in Stuttgart to discuss the latest trends and topics from all areas of industrial cleaning technology.

At Parts2clean 2025, 165 exhibitors from 16 countries met over 3,200 trade visitors who came to Messe Stuttgart to find out about trends and innovations in parts and surface cleaning. In addition to a good number of visitors, with a small increase compared to the last trade fair in 2023, there was also an expansion of the net exhibition space to 4,600 square meters. The number of exhibitors also increased compared to the last event, with around 25% of exhibitors coming from abroad. Against the backdrop of a challenging economic situation, the trade fair therefore performed more than satisfactorily and exceeded the expectations of many exhibitors and visitors. There was particular praise for the high quality of the trade visitors, which according to a visitor survey was 99% and therefore exceptionally high. The visitor survey also revealed that around 90% of them are involved in operational investment decisions. For more than 31% of trade visitors, upcoming investment projects were the main reason for their visit. Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin, Project Director at Deutsche Messe AG, was able to draw a positive conclusion on the course of the trade fair: "The 21st Leading Trade Fair for Industrial Parts and Surface Cleaning thus not only recorded growth in the number of exhibiting companies and the net exhibition space of 4,600 square meters compared to the 2023 event, but also a small increase on the visitor side".

Positive conclusion about Parts2clean 2025

After Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey and the Netherlands were the most strongly represented nations. "For us as the organizer of Parts2clean, however, the satisfaction of the exhibiting companies is more important than the facts and figures," adds Project Director Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin. Samuel Wolf, Managing Director of cleaning system manufacturer Vapic GmbH, confirms: "By the end of the second day of the trade fair, we had already made more contacts than during the entire 2023 trade fair. The visitors came to the trade fair with specific tasks and projects. In some cases, they even brought drawings of the parts to be cleaned, so that we can go straight into developing solutions. The very high number of new contacts (around 80%) is also pleasing." Rien van Sliedregt, Commercial Director at Dutch company Esselent Solutions, has a similar view: "We are exhibiting at Parts2clean for the 18th time and had actually expected fewer visitors to come to the trade fair due to the economic situation. The opposite was the case, we had more visitors at our stand than in 2023, including many very good new contacts. For the first time, we received requests for quotations during the trade fair. The discussions and inquiries were often about optimizing processes and ways to save costs, for example by extending bath service life. Our expertise is an important factor for visitors here, as employees are retiring in companies and their know-how and knowledge will then be missing. We will undoubtedly be exhibiting again at Parts2clean 2027."

Parts2clean trends: automation, digitalization and AI

Automation, digitalization and AI were also clearly in vogue at Parts2clean 2025. Against the backdrop of a shortage of skilled workers and rising overall costs, solutions for these topics were in high demand. In industrial parts cleaning, they can contribute to greater process reliability, efficiency and resource savings, as Oliver Pelz, Director Sales at Ecoclean GmbH, reports: "From our broad portfolio, we presented innovative, partly AI-supported solutions for automated process monitoring and control at parts2clean in addition to four new or further developed systems for solvent and water-based cleaning. The interest and feedback on these developments from visitors from general industry and various high-tech sectors was very good. Many substantial contacts were made for us and we assume that good follow-up business will also develop after the trade fair. And Juliane Schulze, Managing Director of Sita Messtechnik GmbH, notes: "One aspect of our participation in the trade fair is to network with the industry, exchange ideas with partners and find out about trends. To do this, it is also essential to be at parts2clean, because this is where you meet all the relevant suppliers from the various sectors."

Success also thanks to parts2clean expert forum

The bilingual p2c.expert forum also contributed to the success of the trade fair, which, as in previous years, was a magnet for visitors with countless presentations. "There has never been such a high demand for industrial parts and surface cleaning expertise as this year," reports Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin. "The simultaneously translated (German <> English) presentations by experts from science, research and industry were used a total of 3,060 times by trade fair visitors to generate or deepen their knowledge of parts cleaning." The record attendance shows that there is a great need for information ranging from the basics of classic parts cleaning to ultra-fine cleaning and high-purity applications. "And there is no better way for companies to train or educate their employees than through the p2c.expertforum," adds Juliane Schulze. Another highlight at the end of Parts2clean 2025 was the presentation of the Fit2Clean Award by the German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association(as reported by Oberfläche-Online). And after the trade fair is before the trade fair: The next Parts2clean will be held again at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from October 5 to 7, 2027.
